This Friday the EuroMillions has rolled over to £55 Million. Now I play every week as part of a syndicate via Virtual World Direct, and if my syndicate won we’d each pocket just over a million pounds. Now this is a nice amount to win, the whole lot would be too much, and lead to lots of arguments, and a whole load of gold diggers.
Assuming I got lucky here’s what I would do…
First up would be spending a few thousand on a luxury holiday, maybe Dubia, or perhaps the Medeteranian? Basically anywhere that’s sunny!
Now the long term future would probably mean sticking 2 fingers up to my day job, and moving back to Pitlochry. In terms of keeping myself busy I would keep myself busy with the online marketing, or perhaps invest into Dad’s farm?
I like the idea of being an organic pig farmer and breeding some prize porkers and taking them to the various agricultural shows around the country.
Anyway enough of my pipe dreams, but I’d love to hear what you would do with a million pounds?

Naturally I’d invest it into a high-cost low-risk fund. Gold for instance, though admittedly right now is NOT the time to buy gold given the status of the economy. In a few years it’s sure to drop a wee bit in price.
With the profits from that, I’d build myself one heck of a mansion, built into the site of a random mountain with a beautiful view, eiter in Scotland or in Colorado.

Hi Andrew,
After playing the National Lottery for years, (and having a few decent wins on the way), I have decided that it is better to earn a million, rather than win a million. This would give me much more satisfaction in the long run. This is why I am enjoying weekly wins and multiwins on the new and unique lotto style lucky numbers game with global wonplus, where everyone wins.

Hmmm A million pounds
I would take a holiday with my family. Somewhere warm with loads of good food
Then I’m afraid I’d go back to work. Actually love my ‘day’ job. A lot of job satisfaction, sometimes stressful but definitely worthwhile
I’d probably give the money to my mother. She’s semi retired now so she’d have more time to soend it
