Why Is The “Free Line” Moving?
Posted by Andrew in articles on 06 12th, 2008| icon31 Comment »

I watched this video from Frank Kern about a month ago, and it seem’s he really is the Guru’s “Guru”.

He talks about the “Paid For Life” business model where rather than relying on creating product after product you turn them into loyal subscribers who pay you month after month for content / services.

Now let’s try to see how the recent launches of Mike Filsaime and Keith Wellmann tie in with this model, and why if we compare it to the real world it’s a great piece of marketing.

Until recently the marketing funnel went as follows:

  • Enter your email to get a free report, audio interview, or video tutorial at a website
  • You get presented with a related One Time Offer
  • Follow-up via email giving you a mixture of content and reviews of related products
  • The list owner will build a relationship with you, and when a big product launch appears they will try to sell you a home study course retailing at $997 - I’ve bought Butterfly Marketing & Million Dollar March at that price!

This method still works, but for every 1 big homestudy commission you need to put thousands in at the front end of the funnel, and trying to stand out from the crowd in this attention deficient age is growing ever harder.

By turning the funnel on it’s head and giving away the homestudy course Mike & Keith are getting the best customers onto their lists, and the “Paid for Life” model combined with Upsells for other HomeStudy packages means they will get a very healthy return on investment.

A real life example of this can be found by going down your local shopping center and paying a visit to a mobile phone shop. Look at all the newest models of phones, and you will see them advertised as “Free” but in order for this to happen you must give over your card details and sign a monthly contract. The assisstant will also try to upsell you extra minutes, texts, photo messages, and you’ll also have to reject the offer of a years worth of insurance for 50% off the monthly rate.

So the offer from Mike & Keith is a bit like a “Free iphone” campaign, it allows you access to the latest and most advanced technology without you having to fork out hundreds of dollars.

Go look at these offers and remember that unlike phone contracts you can cancel within 30 days, and all it will cost you is the shipping and handling.

p.s. As ever I’d love to hear your comments, and note that the link to Mike’s site actually belongs to Bob The Teacher, and that the salespage has evolved put more emphasis on the monthly magazine.

Clarification about the 7FigureSecrets
Posted by Andrew in articles on 06 4th, 2008| icon35 Comments »

Hi folks

Seem’s like my last post hit a raw nerve, and a few people have got the wrong end of the stick, and jumped on the word “sneaky”

My rambling video below explains my situation, but if you don’t have time to watch it then read then here’s a summary. Forced Continuity done badly is sneaky, but Mike is making it perfectly clear what you’re signing up for, and has explained below how easy it is to cancel the repeat billing.

So this means that Mike is not being sneaky, and nothing is being hidden in small print.

Finally I think Tom is right, the actual product for just the shipping and handling is pretty close to “an irristable offer”.

I’ve had all weekend to look over my latest purchase, and it’s another top product from Eric, watch the video for 3 minutes of rambling, and the full story.

So if you want to follow a complete set of videos that will get you started building a list and earning clickbank sales this really should be a “no-brainer”.

I did it, last night I finally won at Poker!

Once every couple of months some of us get together and play cards / have a few drinks on a Friday night, and normally I’m the guy who always ends up out of pocket. Now last night was different, and when I started to think about what I’d done differently it became obvious why I’d done so well.

So here’s the 3 reason’s that helped me win last night, and how they relate to Internet Marketing…

#1 - Knowledge

The first few times you play it becomes far too easy to try and bluff your way to success, but this is a foolhardy strategy, and it will cost you all your chips.

By learning to fold early you will actual be able watch the “experts” play out the hand, and start to see the potential winning straight’s and flushes that would always beat that

Now thinking of internet marketing the bluff is they typical newbie approach where the credit card comes out, and you buy a dozen products that promise overnight riches on the salespage. Yet a month later all you have is a load of debt, and no idea how to actually make any money.

So keep that credit card in your pocket, identify the experts and watch how they go about marketing products.

#2 - Positive Mental Attitude

By learning how to fold, and keeping hold of your chips you will end up ahead of the newbie who is under pressure with only a couple of chips left. When you have more chips in from of you than your opponent you’re in a position of power, and this gives you a sense that you can actually win, and 90% of the time you will.

Just don’t get too positive, and go crazy against that expert that always beats you.

For interent marketing the positive mental attitude comes from promoting the right products. If you decide to promote a product because it has the biggest affiliate commission then you’re like the guy sweating away with no chips.

Promote things that have helped you personally, and good things will happen.

#3 Capital

Knowing when to invest really is the best way to win at poker, and the same thing is true in the world of business.

In simple terms you need to speculate to accumulate.

When you get dealt a pair then bet big before the flop, this will leave only the serious players in the game, and give you a much better return if you win. My pocket pair of 9’s resulted in a very nice full house, and raising the betting at the start meant a whole load of chips came my way.

For internet marketing capital investment is all about buying the things you need to turn you from buyer into seller.

Here’s what I would call capital items:

  • Web Hosting & 3rd Party Autoresponder
  • Ghostwriter to produce a viral report
  • Graphic for your website
  • Buying resale-rights to products in your niche
  • A script / technical support to turn your report into a membership site
  • Buying traffic

Now unlike poker when you invest in these items you should be looking at a guaranteed return on investment over a given timeframe, rather than just hoping that the last card will be the one you need for a straight flush.

Pulling It All Together

If you have knowledge, A Positive Mental Attitude, and Capital to invest wisely then you should be able to create a website that will build you a list in your chosen niche, and generate you a couple of thousand bucks each month so that you can go play poker with your friends.

Click here to get SEO Codebreaker

“Fact or fiction: is SEO CodeBreaker for real or just anther over-hyped product launch?”

To begin, I was very skeptical about this product. Do you really think that anybody can get great search engine rankings and free traffic in four easy steps?

I doubt it!

Well, after reading the sales letter, it all seemed to promise a lot. However, since there was a money back guarantee, I didn’t have anything to loose. So, I figured I would give it a try.

If it didn’t work I would just get a refund and that would be that.

After deciding to take the plunge, I was pleased with the membership area. Everything was laid out and organized in a very easy-to-use manner.

However, I didn’t join for a pretty member’s area. I wanted step-by-step videos telling me how to get free search engine traffic.

It was the videos that I wanted!

The content on the videos is what is important, not some fancy member’s area.

Now this is where the rubber met the road.

Did the Charles Kirkland promise live up to the hype?

Well, I thought I had a good understanding of SEO but this was like going from 0 to the speed of light in the length of the videos.

The videos are very easy to follow, and were much better than I expected.

The content is rock solid and is really easy to grasp.

Charles really takes his time and explains the how to do it and, most importantly, why to do it.

I would give this product 4 ½ stars out of 5.

This is just personal, but I hated music in the videos. In addition, some of the Web 2.0 techqunes are on the advanced side. But other than that, this is a steal.

Overall, I recommend that you get this before your competition does.
