Hi folks

Previously I wouldn’t have thought twice about promoting anything by Mike Filsaime.

It was his carbon copy videos that taught me html, the butterfly manuscript helped me learn the whole concept of the “One Time Offer”, and his Butterfly Marketing Script powers my ListBanditExpert website. His new product is a condensed version of the “7 Figure Workshop” that people (including me) paid $777 in July last year, so I know that what you’re getting will be top quality information.

The reason I’m not sure about promoting is because although it’s free you will have to enter your credit card details to pay for the p&p. Now recently he’s been giving away some of his other products in a similar way, but when you read the small print it says you’re also joining his paid newsletter and you will get billed $24.95 after 7 days, and every month you remain a member of the newsletter.

To me this is pretty sneaky and part of a growing trend where more and more of the big names are trying to people into forced continuity programmes. To me the idea is a bit like the porn industry where you get the instant gratification for free, and then rely on you forgetting to cancel the billing.

Also I’m sure that the site will have a whole host of upsells & downsells, and you will probably get the chance to buy the digital download of the Butterfly Marketing Script for a lot less than $1500 - brilliant if you want to launch your own site in the near future.

So please post a comment to let me know your opion on this matter.

The site is now live, I won’t be promoting directly, but I can confirm that Mike has been totally upfront about adding you to his monthly newsletter, so if you take up his offer but don’t want to pay the monthly fee for the newsletter then make a note of the number on the order page so you just pay the S&H.

Here’s Bob Jenkin’s link, he’s giving you extra material for going through his link

Thanks for all the comments, and in future please give Mike the respect that he deserves, it was a bit unfair of me to make comments on something that I hadn’t personally seen.

5 Tips For Traffic Generation
Posted by Andrew in articles on 05 26th, 2008| icon31 Comment »

Traffic is the blood of your online business, you could have the best website in the world, but without the traffic flowing through it’s arteries it wouldn’t make you a single cent.

So here’s 5 tips to help you generate more traffic to your website.

#1 Leave comments on blogs, but don’t just do a few lines, actually add a proper response. If people are interested in what you added they will be able to find your website.

#2 Put your website url in your profile at your favourite forums, that way your website link will appear at the bottom of every post you make.

#3 Add an opt-in box to your website. This will capture the email of your visitors, and you can send out emails to let people know when you’ve added new content.

#4 Provide space for advertising. This way you can swap banner and text links with people who have similar websites. If you have a product that you sell be sure to swap affiliate links :-)

#5 Write articles that are relavent to your niche. When they get published at the various article sites you can place a link back to your website in the resource box at the bottom of the article.

Hope you find this usefull, and be sure to implament tip #1

Think Rich - Buy Assets…
Posted by Andrew in articles on 04 22nd, 2008| icon3No Comments »

As you probably know I’ve been reading “RIch Dad, Poor Dad”, and one of the differences between the 2 dad’s is the way that they think about the simple things in life.

Poor Dad thinks this biggest asset is his house, whereas Rich Dad thinks of it as a liability.

The reason being that buying a house via mortgage actually cost you money every month, and it takes 25 years before you actually own it. Now compare this to a property that you rent out.

You put in some initial capital, and rent it out each month for profit, you then invest that profit into buying another property, rinse and repeat for maximum profit.

Now in marketing terms here’s a site that teaches you how to create lots of little assets

If you follow Brian’s tactics you can set up lots of little assets, so start thinking like Rich Dad

5 Ways To Make A Sale On The Internet…
Posted by Andrew in articles on 03 21st, 2008| icon32 Comments »

I hope you find this article usefull, and I’d love to read your comments.

#1 Sell Other People’s Products

Basically you drive traffic to your affiliate page, and if anyone buys then you get a commission on the sale. Clickbank & PayDotCom are great places to find ebooks where you can earn up to 75% commission.

Now although I’ve put this as #1 I don’t rely on this as my main source of income. If I was to spend all my time driving traffic to other people’s sites then I would be building someone else’s list rather than mine. The best way to make affiliate sales is to include them in your autoresponder series or promote via viral ebooks as part of your listbuilding.

#2 Resale Rights Products

This is where you buy the product and sell it on for 100% profit.

Now you should be carefull when selecting a product to resale. It should be a product related to a niche that your interested in, and it should come with graphics and a salespage that you can customise to fit your market.

If you combine several resale right products from the same niche you can put these together and sell as a One Time Offer to anyone who opts-in to your list.

#3 Private Label Products

This where you buy the rights to fully edit a complete product, and then sell it as if you were the author.

A lot more work is involved here, as if you’re selling with your name on the cover then it needs to be something that you’re proud of, and not just a series of rehased articles full of spelling mistakes.

A good tactic with PLR products is to take out a chapter and turn it into a viral report than you can use in giveaway sites to generate leads and send targeted traffic back to the main salespage.

#4 Create Your Own Product

If you’ve been targeting your list on a specific niche then you should have lots of ideas for potential products.

Typical content would be an e-book, a piece of software, interviews with experts, or a mentoring service.

Now in order to sell this product you will need to create some graphics and a salespage - I would highly recommend that you outsource the graphics and copywriting. Now this probably won’t be cheap, but the more you spend on your copywriting the better your salespage will convert.

#5 Create Your Own Affiliate Army

Now that you have your own product you should provide a way for other people to sell it.

If you sell the product using a membership script like Launch Formula Marketing ever buyer will automatically be given an affiliate link. By using LFM you can also give away copies of your products to the big players in your niche and get them on board as Joint Venture partners.

To really kickstart your online income it would also be great to get your product listed on Clickbank or PayDotCom so that you can get affiliates from all over the world promoting your product.

The Secret Of Being Profitable…
Posted by Andrew in articles on 03 15th, 2008| icon31 Comment »

I’m afraid the secret to being profitable isn’t the latest ebook, or even one of the many $997 homestudy packages that flood your inboxes as people chase the big commissions.

I’ve bought the homestudy packages, watched the video recordings of seminars, and actually spoken to a couple of the big earners. The one secret I picked up is that all the “gurus” put the secret of the profitable mindset down to reading business books.

Yes, rather than spending $47 on a small pdf file you should be going to amazon and buying real physical books!

Currently I’m reading “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and it’s amazing how the ideas that were generated in the 60’s still apply today, and has really helped me to get a grip on my cashflow. If you’ve ever wondered why you’re stuck in the rat race working non stop just to pay the bills this book will help you.

Another favourite is “Think & Grow Rich”. This helped me to realise that you need to have an internal focus and desire if you want to achieve success. Simply wanting to make a million dollars is not a good driver, and could actually put you in the poor house.

The advantage of buying a physical book is that you can carry it round with you, and somehow the words and concepts stick in your head longer than those you see on a computer screen. Physical books also go through a lengthy editorial process, so you won’t be irritated by typo’s, bad formatting, and poor grammar.

So next time you get tempted to buy an ebook ask yourself this question:

What will I learn from this product, and will it help me be successful?

If you don’t know the answer, or don’t know how you will achieve success then you need to read some business books…

 Happy Reading

Andrew Stark

Is Technology Holding You Back?
Posted by Andrew in articles on 02 21st, 2008| icon3No Comments »

HTML, JAVA, Cpanel, FTP, Upsells, Downsells,
OTO’s, Main Pages Squeeze Pages….Order Pages,
Confirmation Pages, E-mail campaigns, it’s…just…
about…enough…to make your head EXPLODE…

Sound painfully familiar?? Yeah, for me too.

Personally, it makes me itch all over just thinking
about it. And it’s what we face each and every day
as an Internet Marketer… I pose a simple question
and I get 43,676 answers from Google, NONE of them the
same and NONE of them that make a bit of sense to me…

Information OVERLOAD can shut you down. Not only that
it can shut your business down..in a heartbeat. No
clicks, conversions or customers… game over.

But, it seems like someone was listening to our
collective screaming… Keith Wellman and Marc Horne
the guys behind The Million Dollar March are apparently
paying very close attention to that screaming actually.

The reason I know this is because I just got a line on
a little deal they just knocked out that you can grab
gratis…long as you’re quick enough to get over there
and grab your copy before 999 other people beat you to it.

It’s called, zEzWeb…..and it literally takes ALL the
guess work out of building out your web business…
from sales page, to order confirmation and every step
in between…..as they say… it’s IN there.

Consider this your chance to overcome all that
technological overload and get things done the right
way… the first time. They just busted out a video
that you’re going to want to take a really close look
at. It outlines just how easy and powerful zEz Web
actually is, check it out now….

P.S. Did I mention that it’s ONLY for the first 1000
people… and for those 1000 it’s not only get it for
free - but free for LIFE!

of cyberspace all alone - get it now!

Definition Of A Newbie
Posted by Andrew in articles on 02 21st, 2008| icon33 Comments »

To me the word “newbie” is a state of mind that holds many people back

A Newbie is someone who spends their money chasing the dream of creating an online money tree, but even after planting hundreds of acorns no oaks are in sight.

You see the world of internet marketing has set up so that people get caught in what I call the “Newbie Trap”. Far too many people believe the dream that overnight welath can be created from an adwords campaign and the latest much have $47 ebook.

Once you make that first purchase it’s a downward spiral of spending more money and trying to learn everything that you think you need to know. After I purchased my first ebook I was called up and told that if I paid a few thousand and joined a mentoring programme I would be earning tens of thousands within months.

Like a true newbie I was out with the credit card and started trying the coaching calls. Sadly the guy who was training me was totally rubbish, and it was only when I started to do background research I found much more valuable content for free in marketing forums like NetMarketingForum & TheWarrior Forum.

Fast forward a couple of years and now that I’m a bit more savy I want to share 3 tips with you that will help you to get started actually making money.

  1. Stop calling yourself a newbie, and avoid products that are advertised as being suitable for newbies. The people selling these products realise that you have a shiny new credit card and rely on you being green behind the ears and pay copywriters to play on this.
  2. Identify the Mavens that you want to be like. Download the free reports, participate in forums, comment on blogs, and become a student of marketing.
  3. Start building your list. This is easier than sounds, as you don’t need to re-invent the wheel! Rebrand / get giveaway rights for a report you downloaded in step 2, and add your own aweber code and thank-you pages.

Now I hope you understand this, and if you need help with #3 then please get in touch

2 Types of Marketers - Which 1 are you?
Posted by Andrew in articles on 02 13th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Here’s something that I’ve noticed from doing some support work for launch formula marketing

Far too many people are using technology as a barrier and an excuse as to why they haven’t actually put this powerful marketing script into action. To get my point across I want you to answer this question:

Is it better to have a website that failed, or fail because you have no website?

I’m a believer that the best way to learn is by making mistakes, so I would rather have a failed website to analyse what went wrong rather than being left to wonder what would have happened if…

Just to make you feel better here’s an email I got today from Keith Wellman about his Dad’s new site

Yesterday Mr. Jeff Wellman launched
Lay Off Your Boss 2…

He did not do as well as expected,
however, this kind of thing happens
all the time in this market that
we are in…

so he has changed up the gameplan a bit…

He is taking off the $77 price and
willing to let you try it out for
one month to see what it is all
about…

So as you can see even the superstars don’t always get it right.

If you’re in the glass half empty camp and full of procrastination then I want you to make an effort to actually get your own website online, and learn from your mistakes.

Finally, this is my third attempt at a blog, and although it’s still not perfect, it’s already doing so much better than the previous 2 which looking back were no more than glorified “splogs”

Andrew

p.s. When you leave a comment be sure to include a link to your site, I like to see what sites my readers have.

Feb 13

Simon Hodgkinson and Jeremy Gislason fall into the catagory of “super affiliates” who can make thousands of dollars from a single email promotion.

The reason behind this success is that many people see them as authority figures.

More importantly the reason why people regard them as authority figures is based on the thousands of people they have in their membership sites. So I wanted to let you know about this great new site that Jeremy and Simon have been
secretly putting together over the past couple of months.

Why?

To teach you everything they know about building online businesses and marketing with membeship sites.

There is already lots of great software around to build membership sites, but they have discovered many of you need more training n the mindset, ins and outs, behind the scenes etc.

Lots of free content available and tons more content in the upgraded Silver member area.

Check it out here, it’s totally free to sign up:
