So over the weekend I got a promo for the “RealGuys” limited offer.
I really liked the video presentation and thought that at $37 the rights to a listbuilding course was something that I could just upload and start selling via digiresults for $17 and make a quick profit and by setting up the affiliate programme I could have other people building me a list of buyers.
I skipped the OTO and it turns out that I just got a very basic salespage, and it was going to be a much bigger job to sell this course that I was anticipating. So within 30 minutes of paying I realised that I wasn’t going to be selling this course, and that I should ask for a refund.
Within hours I had a very courtious response that said the refund was not a problem, and thanked me for actually buying in the first place. By being proactive with customer support these guys have turned my negative into a postive, and here I am telling everyone about how they have overdelivered.
By the way the reason I’m telling everyone is due to me currently reading “The Thank You Economy” and I’ve realised that it’s actually more important to praise good examples than it is to moan about bad things.
Here’s hoping some of this positive thinking rubs off on you.
Andrew
