Is Your Computer Holding You Back?
So the credit card bill for my new computer landed on Friday (I built it myself with components from ebuyer).
Since then my whole life has really transformed, no longer do I dread sitting in the cupboard shouting and swearing at a machine that stuggled to do more than 2 things at once. The content for HowToUseListWire was created within 24 hours of the idea coming into my head, and all the script installing and html editing was a smooth process.
With my old computer I would still have that idea in my head and no extra cash in my pocket.
I guess what I’m saying is that I needed to invest in my business to drive it forward, by treating the computer like a capital purchase I was able to justify the expense, and the increased productivity means that funds generated are able to pay it now - pretty cool!
In summary when you make any purchase treat it like a capital investement, so next time you buy an ebook make sure you take action and earn more back than you invested. If you can do it over the intrest free part of your credit card all the better you’ll be in pure profit straight away.
Happy List Building
Andrew
p.s. I’ve just combined the power of NickelMania and Butterfly Marketing, expect big things…

Just got back from playing duplicate bridge. Time to read my e-mails. It is great when you make an investment in your business that pays off. It does not happen to me often enough.
Hi Andrew
Glad to see you back up, I did get your reply email, and i am going to do what i should have done a long time ago I`m going to take your advice and go with aweber and get some butterfly sites up, thanks.
Same thing happened to me last year, it took me weeks to get google to lift the ban, only I lost everything on my blog, had no backups and had to get my host to reset as i couldnt risk infecting anyone.
So anyone reading this comment who has a blog or any other form of web site, learn how to back up and restore.
Now back to your post I got a new dell dual core last year with lots of memory, what a big difference from my old pc I can build my own but it was a bargain.
So I agree you have to make investments to help your business, some bigger than others.
Keep up the good work.
Paul.
That’s what I need to do, because my computer does slow me down some. The internet is a real problem here though since the fastest isn’t fast enough for instant streaming.
Well said. I think you have just given me the impetus to be rid of my poltergiest machine.
Thanks.
Chris
