Have I Been Sending You Too Many Offers?
So I was at an excellent event organised by Lee McIntyre, and I realised that I was focusing in on short term wealth and being a “me marketer” who just copies & pastes out the latest offers.
I’ve been through my inbox and deleted the marketers who were leading me astray – I suggest you do the same, and add if you want to name and shame then tell me what I’ve promoted that was actually rubbish.
As I say in the video I want to focus the rest of August on creating content, I’ve now got skype recording, so please post your questions in the comments and I’ll be in touch with a suitable time for those with the best questions.
Also please let me know if you would like your squeezepage & signup process critiqued via camtasia.
Look forward to the comments, it really will help me help you.
Andrew

Hey Andrew
Yes I’d really like to interview you on skype…
If you’d first tell me how to do a skype recording…
I’ve got skype but so far have only used it for calling my Mentor.
If you need to contact me you can do via my email address and I’m sure you would be able to find me on skype via my website.
Thanks a lot.
Malcolm.t.
P.s.
Dean can tell you who I am.
Andrew, Its funny that you should ask that. I came to the decision myself about 10 days ago, that its time to weed out the ones that are distracting me or rehashing what I hear from everyone else. I’m happy to say, I got your email, because you WERE NOT one of the ones I felt I needed to unsubscribe from! Keep em coming, I trust your emails will offer quality! Thanks! Jeannie
So far Andrew you haven’t teed me off. but I like the sentiment
of today’s thought, and it’s action. Keep traveling the path.

I have been getting too many e-mails, about 200 a day. There has been a lot of repitition. Whenever something new comes out, There has to be at least a half dozen marketeers promoting it. After a while a lot of it goes straight to junk. I have got my website on page one on the 3 major search engines, and am getting a steady traffic, but few coversiions. I have mounted the learning curve, but still have a lot to learn. I think I should try some squeeze pages and automate with Getresponse. My website is getting to be known as Information Depot. I have 165 pages and will reach 200. I am looking for more products to promote.
Hi Andrew,
Wow. Am I glad you snet this email. I was beginning to ownder just what I was suppposed to be doing!
Putting your ads out there or jooining up to all htese programs you are sending through.
Plus they are coming htrough at around 4 emails each time, thought that might be different ad places, but on checking, no, it comes from same address for al 4.
I too had decided I would now only work with a coupe of people, including yours, but delete all others.
Cleaning out un-used software thats so old its growing mould as well.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up on getting rid of some of the mailings. Well chosen.
Sincerely,
Danella

Hi Andrew
I been looking for a business for about 4 months, but have not had the funds to proseed, because of job loss, which was god send really.Ive looked at many types of business, and have lernt a lot.I get 200 emails aday trying to sell me stuff. Most i just delete because i dont know who there are,and whether they can be trusted.there are to many scams which i can know spot a mile away which has save me thousands.I think people that make there so called thousands aday sould put there money were there mouth is ,and let people try there business for free, and then if it works they are going to join.some system could be in place to terminate them after a time period. But people would join by thethousands in this day and age, with the ways things are. Also you would get a targeted market, and build a big list, trusted follows.
Hey Andrew,
Thanks for asking this question! You just scored a lot of points with me by doing so.
Recently, I have been starting to wonder about my own vision and strategy. I mean, I am trying to create an online business myself.
In the process of creating a business I am learning that you have to be very careful about who you choose to associate with right down to buying other marketers products and services.
To get more directly to your very timely question. I am finding myself becoming overwhelmed with offers mostly from guru marketers who are promoting the next best thing since sliced bread.
In their minds they feel they have a right to do this because I bought something from them, so, I am on their list. You buy a few things, get on a few lists and suddenly your are receiving anywhere from two – 5 or 6 emails from each of these sources.
It is disturbing to me on from several different points of view:
1. It’s as though I am being
objectified into a credit
card or an bottomless bank
account
2. There is no differentiation
between being a customer and
being a member
3. I end up spending hours on
deciphering this stuff and
it detracts me form my
efforts to stay focused on
my own business.
Of course, I can not lay the responsibility for these three factors on marketers such as yourself. I have to share much of the accountability myself (after all, I am the only person whom I have control over). But, I feel that the so called “guru” marketers get a bit to hyped up on their own press and they go overboard, in my opinion.
Is it greed, is it insecurity? I don’t know. But, I am going to have to exercise more discretion on my side of the equation and I think that the “gurus” need to step back and re-look at their business strategies from a longer-term perspective. Otherwise they may suffer from some negative reactions from this growing resentment of their kind of inconsiderate.
Andrew, I appreciate your asking this question. I have not seen it being asked by anyone else. So, you are way ahead of the curve. I hope that you are you aren’t offended by my feedback. My intention is to give my honest feelings and to add some value to the conversation.
Best regards,
Charles Toney
Hi folks
Thanks for all the great comments, it’s actually made me feel better than making a few sales, so it’s time to go shoot a new video about headlines.
Charles I think you hit the nail on the head, and I’m going to make sure that I don’t turn into a “Guru” who treats my list like an ATM.
Andrew
