Definition Of A Squeeze Page

The SqueezePage is the #1 tool of any affiliate marketer looking to build a list.

This can be split into 2 types of SqueezePage.

The Pre-Sell

This is used by product owners to get build a list and increase conversion on the main salespage.

For example if the product was “How to Make Money With Google Adwords” it would give away a free report / video about what the product does and why it’s the best thing since sliced bread. If people aren’t interested enough in the free report then chances of selling them a product would be very slim.

Essentially this is the basis for creating a “Butterfly Marketing” site where the product is sold as the One Time Offer, and a %age is paid out for every sale. By doing this the owner is not only building a list, but every member of the list now has an incentive to promote the squeeze page.

This brings us nicely onto the second type of squeeze page

The Viral Report

This is where you create an opt-in page to give away a report in return for an email address. Any half decent marketer will provide affiliates with a report they can brand it with their own link. Clickbank has lots of products you can promote in this manner.

Here’s one I use to promote Super Affiliate Weapon

For squeeze pages like this I would recommend that you size it so that the opt-in form is above the fold of the page, and you only give the visitor 1 option – join your list or close the window! If you plan on using several different reports it would be good to get a graphic designer to create a template which will contain your name – this will help you build your brand and stand out from the crowd.

If you want some tips on how to monetize this process I suggest you read and join SAW

The bottom line

If you’ve not currently got any squeeze pages then you’re not building a list, and not having a list means you’ll struggle to make an impact in the internet marketing world.

    Hello Andrew,

I will like to take you up on your offer for a free critique of a squeeze page I just built. The product is remedial reading software packaged in modules for slow learners. The link to that page is http://www.trinidadandtobagobusiness.com/reader.html
Also am about to test the headline, nothing else is changed in this version.

    Thanks for the offer.

    Hi Tony

Couple of graphical things that you split test.

#1 Put the opt-in form above the fold rather than at the bottom.

#2 Find a graphics guy prepared to make you an ecover so that you can get your name branded on the report.

Also if you get a cover done you can start to submit the book to the many giveaway sites.

    Hope this helps.
